What is the provider app?
If you are part of a health program, chances are that you have to use your Withings device with an app in order to access your data.
The organization that has provided you with your product has also provided you with their app, that’s why we call it the provider app.
I’m having issues with the provider app. What should I do?
We recommend you to reach out to your provider, as Withings does not have control over apps.
Why do I need an app?
The provider app allows you to:
- Set up your Withings device
- Synchronize your Withings device
- Access the device settings of your Withings device
- Access the data collected by your Withings device.
Depending on who your provider is, the app can help you monitor your health and/or track your progress.
Do I need to use the Withings mobile app?
No. As part of the provider program, the Health Mate app should not be used to configure or use your Withings device.
